Hello, Friends!

Paws-A-Tive Choice, LLC is celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary!

I can't believe we first opened our doors in May 2007! Time truly does fly when you're working hard and having fun!

It has been quite a journery! Lots of learning curves, which of course is an on going process.

Throughout these past 10 years, I have made some incredible friends. The best people who have come into my life, came to me because of their dogs.

I have been blessed abundantly with so many wonderful students; some who have been with me from the time their dogs were pups. Now these dogs are elderly, but still actively training at Paws-A-Tive Choice, LLC. I am so thankful and honored by the dedication of my students. They have been pawsome supporters and I treasure each and every one of them!

Just a couple of quick reminders: The American Cancer Society's BARK FOR LIFE event is happening this Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Waterford High School Environmental Center in Waterford, WI. The event is from noon to 2:30 p.m. Please come and support this important fundraising event. There will be doggy games, photo ops, a demonstration by our Racine Area Sheriff Office K-9 Unit, as well as vendors. Come see me at the Registration booth. I'd be happy to get you registered. You can attend with or without a dog.

The LATE SPRING SESSION of classes begins the week of May 22, 2017. Registration is NOW OPEN! I encourage you to register early so you get into the class you would like. There will be NO CLASS on Monday, May 29, 2017 due to the Memorial Day holiday.

I am judging a K9 Nose Work Odor Recogntion Test on June 11, 2017 at Think Pawsitive in New Berlin, WI. To register your dog for the ORT, contact

As more events are happening, I will continue to post them here as well as on the Paws-A-Tive Choice, LLC Facebook page.

MANY THANKS for your on going support and interest in training at Paws-A-Tive Choice, LLC. Here's to another 10 years of fun with you and your canine companions!

Stay pawsative and keep training happy!
